The Global Birth Guardians Founding Circle is the first gathering of people helping shape the heart, direction, values, and future of this global movement.
This is where we begin.
Before Global Birth Guardians becomes a wider international platform, we are gathering the first voices — the doulas, doctors, midwives, nurses, educators, waterbirth advocates, birth centers, organizations, researchers, and community leaders who feel called to protect birth across borders.
The Founding Circle is not about joining something already finished.
It is about helping shape what is being born.
The Founding Circle is the first global community connected to Global Birth Guardians.
It is a space for people who believe birth can be safer, kinder, more respectful, more connected, and more human.
It is a place for conversation, connection, listening, and shared vision.
Through the Founding Circle, we will begin to understand what is happening in birth across different countries, what challenges birth professionals are facing, what hopes are emerging, and what kind of global support is truly needed.
This is the circle that will help guide the next steps.
The Founding Circle is open to anyone working in or deeply connected to birth, maternity care, gentle birth, waterbirth, and respectful family support.
You are welcome to join if you are a:
You may join as an individual, as part of a local community, or as someone representing an organization, birth center, hospital, or professional network.
You do not need to have everything figured out.
You only need to feel aligned with the vision of protecting birth with dignity, respect, wisdom, and collaboration.
Founding Circle members are helping shape the earliest foundation of Global Birth Guardians.

The Founding Circle allows us to listen before building.
At this founding stage, there is no fee to join the Global Birth Guardians Founding Circle.
There is also no fee to attend the first online gathering on June 25, 2026.
This first season is about gathering, listening, connecting, and beginning with integrity.
As Global Birth Guardians grows, some future offerings may become paid, such as memberships, trainings, retreats, workshops, waterbirth education, professional gatherings, and collaborative events. This will allow the work to become sustainable and allow contributors, educators, and speakers to be honored fairly.
But for now, the invitation is simple:

This first gathering will be a space to open the conversation, hear founding voices from around the world, and begin imagining what we can build together.
Global Birth Guardians honors the communities already doing this work.
Local doula groups, birth organizations, waterbirth communities, hospitals, birth centers, and professional networks remain rooted in their own countries, cultures, leadership, and wisdom.
Global Birth Guardians is not here to replace them.
It is here to connect them.
We believe the global birth movement becomes stronger when existing communities can see one another, learn from one another, and stand beside one another.
